One of the oldest musical instruments, flutes date back to at least 35,000 years ago, with ancient examples discovered in Aisia & Europe. Traditionally, they are crafted from a variety of woods such as bamboo, boxwood, and blackwood, each contributing to the distinct tone and resonance of the instrument. The construction involves precision in crafting holes
along the tube, which allow flutists to produce varying notes and tunes by
covering and uncovering these holes in different combinations.
This method allows for a wide range of expressions, from deep,
mellow tones to bright, clear sounds.
OUR PROCESS
For over 15 years, we've been dedicated to playing and creating flutes, cherishing the connection they allow with the natural elements and sentient beings. We handcraft each flute with focused prayer and meditation, ensuring every piece is imbued with intention. We are pleased to offer both custom design services for unique flutes and a selection of pre-made instruments.
